About

Rachel Koblic
This portfolio serves as an opportunity to reflect on the knowledge and skills I’ve acquired during my time in Indiana University's online master's program in Instructional Systems Technology, and how they serve me in my current role as VP of Learn at Pavilion. Reflection is a secret weapon–it’s something that learners often skip, but is critical to consolidating learning and making it stick. By engaging in this exercise I hope to create a clear and concise narrative explaining how what I've learned in the program contributes to my effectiveness as a leader in learning.
I want to contribute to raising the bar of human achievement by creating high-quality learning programs for all. We improve as a society through collective individual improvement, and education is key to that. But structured education, alone, is not enough–we need learning architecture that reaches beyond the classroom and integrates into people’s lives to provide the ongoing support and infrastructure required for success. My goal is to create learning experiences that are proven by data to be effective, engaging, and equitable, at a price point that makes them accessible to all.
As VP of Learn at Pavilion–a global community for revenue professionals–I oversee our educational programming. It is a multifaceted role in which I am responsible for developing strategy, systems, and operations that will scale in everything from student success and learning technology to curriculum design and content development. However, as an executive in a high-growth startup company with a small team, I am also still very much involved in our day-to-day design work. By combining Pavilion University with community services and resources, we are creating a learning program that stretches beyond the classroom–all included in the cost of membership.
